I have taught several different economics classes at the undergraduate and graduate level as a lead instructor, and I find this experience to be truthfully rewarding and enjoyable. I believe that first creating an environment where students feel welcome and safe to explore their interests is as important as igniting their curiosity and guiding them to tools that produce answers.

Selected Student Comments
“I loved this Class. I was really worried because ECON can be a complicated topic. I felt that the instructor provided the students with really informative and timely resources which made the topics approachable and in some cases dare I say fun.” – Introduction to Health Economics, Spring 2021
“The instructor had a very open and engaging personality that encouraged classroom discussion. She also did a great job with communicating with the class. The transition to online content following campus closures was successful and I think conducive to providing the material needed while being conscious of students schedules.” – Health Economics, Spring 2020
“The Instructor did a great job She met with me a few times and provided much needed help” – Principles of Macroeconomics, Fall 2019
“Articles for readings were able to easily be applied to current day issues Opinion essays allowed the class to analyze the readings further and truly understand.” – Economics as a Social Science, Spring 2018
